Appestra (“we”, “us”) operates appestra.com, the customer account portal, checkout, and related services. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your choices. BlitzFunnel free is also distributed via WordPress.org, see the WordPress.org vs Appestra section below.

Who is the controller

For purchases, accounts, marketing emails from Appestra, and the storefront, Appestra is the controller. Contact: support@appestra.com.

Information we collect

• Account & billing: name, email, company (optional), billing address when provided, payment metadata from Stripe, PayPal, and/or Razorpay (we do not store full card numbers).
• Orders & licenses: products purchased, license keys, activation site URLs / blog IDs, download events.
• Free-download leads: email and optional first name when you request the free plugin link from our site, plus marketing consent if you opt in.
• Support: messages and attachments you send to support or security inboxes.
• Technical: IP address, browser type, and basic server logs needed for security and fraud prevention.

How we use data (legal bases)

We use personal data to: fulfill orders and deliver licenses; authenticate your account; send transactional email (receipts, download links, license notices); provide support; prevent abuse; and, with consent or soft opt-in where allowed, send product tips and offers. Legal bases typically include contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement aggregates), and consent (analytics cookies, marketing where required).

Processors & subprocessors

• Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal, and/or Razorpay (depending on checkout configuration)
• Email delivery for store and sequences: our configured transactional mail path
• Optional analytics: Google Analytics 4 when you accept analytics cookies
• Hosting / infrastructure providers that store the storefront and databases

We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertisers for cross-site tracking.

WordPress.org vs Appestra

The free BlitzFunnel plugin on WordPress.org stores funnel and lead data on your WordPress site. Appestra does not receive those leads unless you separately opt into anonymous usage statistics inside the plugin, or you interact with appestra.com (account, purchase, free-download email gate). Pro license checks and updates contact Appestra over HTTPS as described in the Pro plugin privacy notices.

Cookies

Essential: checkout, account session, security, and remembering your cookie choice.
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people discover BlitzFunnel. Manage preferences anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

Retention

Account, order, and license records are kept while your account is active and as needed for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution. Free-download leads and marketing enrollments are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, unless a longer retention is required by law. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle.

International transfers

Our processors may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses).

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain processing or withdraw consent. California residents may request to know or delete personal information; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email support@appestra.com, we aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services are directed to adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced by email or a site notice when appropriate.
