Affiliate Marketing Funnel Template (Free Copy-Paste)

Landing page + 3 emails , fill in the brackets and launch.

This affiliate marketing funnel template gives you a complete lead-capture affiliate funnel you can launch in one afternoon on WordPress.

Landing page, thank-you message, and three follow-up emails are written below with real copy for the bridge headline "Stop guessing which email tool fits your WordPress site."

The lead magnet is the Email Tool Pick Checklist.

The bridge page angle is "Stop guessing which email tool fits your WordPress site." Copy the structure and swap the niche details for yours, or paste text directly into BlitzFunnel to see how the pieces connect.

We built and tested this funnel on a fresh WordPress 6.x install with BlitzFunnel active. The page URL is yoursite.com/checklist/. Email delays are day 0, day 2, and day 5. One affiliate link appears in email 3 only.

Affiliate funnel template

Affiliate funnel template: Landing page → Opt-in → Thank-you → Email 1 → Email 2 → Email 3 → Affiliate click.

Template overview

This template assumes cold-to-warm traffic. A free resource related to your affiliate niche, three emails over five days, and one primary affiliate recommendation in the final message.

For hot traffic from an existing list, shorten to a bridge page plus one recommendation email.

The lead magnet must bridge naturally to the affiliate offer. Ask: what problem does ConvertKit solve that your checklist only partially addresses? The checklist helps readers compare tools.

ConvertKit is the tool you recommend after they know what to look for. That thread stays consistent from landing page through email 3.

WordPress implementation

Install your funnel plugin, create a new email capture funnel, paste the landing page copy, connect the form to automation, set email delays, and insert the affiliate link in email 3. See our funnel plugin guide for tool comparisons.

In BlitzFunnel, choose Email capture page on wizard step 1. Paste headline and sub-headline on step 2. Set the form to collect email only and choose Show thank you page after opt-in.

Paste the three emails on step 4 with delays at zero, two, and five days. Set the offer URL field to your ConvertKit affiliate link even though visitors will not see it until email 3.

Launch checklist

  1. Create new funnel and choose email capture page type.
  2. Paste landing page copy below into headline, sub-headline, and form fields.
  3. Connect form to automation with delays at 0, 2, and 5 days.
  4. Paste three emails into the sequence editor.
  5. Insert ConvertKit affiliate link in email 3 and add disclosure.
  6. Set funnel URL to /checklist/ and status to Active.
  7. Run full-path test: opt-in with a test email, confirm delivery, verify affiliate redirect.

Choosing your lead magnet for this template

The lead magnet must bridge naturally to your affiliate offer. Ask what problem the paid tool solves that your free resource only partially addresses. The checklist helps readers compare email tools.

ConvertKit is the tool you recommend after they know what to look for. A generic productivity PDF would break that thread.

Before you write landing page copy, finish the magnet itself. A half-finished PDF makes the landing page feel hollow even when the headline is strong. A checklist is one printable page. Readers can complete it in twenty minutes.

That completion time matters because it sets expectations for email 1.

Landing page copy (funnel)

Remove site navigation from this page. One column layout. Headline visible without scrolling on mobile. These layout rules matter as much as the words because most checklist traffic arrives on phones.

Headline: Pick the right email tool for your WordPress site , get the free Email Tool Pick Checklist.

Sub-headline: A one-page PDF that helps WordPress bloggers compare five popular email tools in under twenty minutes , without reading a dozen conflicting review posts or signing up for trials you do not need yet.

Bullet 1: See the five criteria that actually matter for WordPress sites: deliverability setup, automation, pricing at your list size, template quality, and plugin integration.

Bullet 2: Copy the side-by-side comparison table and fill in your own shortlist in ten minutes.

Bullet 3: Follow the decision flowchart so you pick one tool this week instead of researching for another month.

Form label: Email address.

Button: Send me the checklist.

Micro-copy under button: Instant delivery. Unsubscribe anytime.

Below the fold

Who this is for: WordPress bloggers and creators who publish regularly but have not committed to one email platform yet.

What's inside: One printable page with comparison criteria, a scoring table, and a decision flowchart.

About you: I have migrated three WordPress sites between email tools and documented what broke each time. This checklist is the process I wish I had before my first switch.

Optional footer disclosure if the page mentions paid tools: We may earn a commission if you purchase through links on this site.

Keep this on the landing page even though the affiliate link appears only in email 3, because transparency starts before the pitch.

Thank-you page

Headline: Check your inbox , your Email Tool Pick Checklist is on the way.

Body: We sent it to the email you provided. Open the message from you at WP Email Guide and click the download link.

If you do not see it within five minutes, check spam and add hello@wpemailguide.com to your contacts.

Optional: While you wait, read five signs you've outgrown your free email tool , it pairs well with the checklist.

Three-email sequence (full you copy)

Send on day 0, day 2, and day 5. Do not pitch in email 1. Adjust timing if your audience prefers faster nurture, but keep the deliver-teach-recommend order.

Each email below is paste-ready for BlitzFunnel step 4 or your ESP sequence editor. Replace bracketed links with your download URL and affiliate tracking link. Keep disclosure in email 3 even if your program allows softer language elsewhere.

Read the three messages as one story. Email 1 delivers the checklist and one quick win. Email 2 shares a migration mistake so readers trust your judgment. Email 3 names ConvertKit with honest limits and a single button.

That arc matches the five stages in our affiliate funnel stages guide.

If you need more context on timing, see the WordPress email sequence examples page for the affiliate nurture variant with the same subjects and a shorter summary.

Email 1 , Deliver and quick win (day 0)

Subject: Your Email Tool Pick Checklist is inside (+ one quick win)

Hi there, here is the Email Tool Pick Checklist you requested: [DOWNLOAD LINK]

Before you compare every tool on the market, do this one thing today. Open page two and run the deliverability test on your current setup. Send a test email to mail-tester.com and note your score.

Most WordPress bloggers skip this step and wonder why their welcome sequence lands in promotions.

Tomorrow I will share the mistake I see most often when bloggers switch email tools mid-year. For now, enjoy the checklist.

P.S. Hit reply and tell me your biggest email tool headache. I read every message.

Email 1 should fit on one phone screen without scrolling. If yours runs longer, cut until the download link and quick win remain above the fold.

Email 2 , Teach and build trust (day 2)

Subject: The mistake most WordPress bloggers make when switching email tools

Hi there, when I moved my first WordPress site off a free email plan, I exported my list and imported it into the new tool on the same day I cancelled the old one.

Three subscribers never received the migration notice. Two marked me as spam. I learned the hard way that timing matters as much as features.

The fix is simple. Run both tools in parallel for two weeks. Send your weekly newsletter from the old tool while your welcome sequence runs from the new one.

Tag new subscribers clearly so you know who landed where. Section three of your checklist walks through this step by step.

If you have not opened the checklist yet, here is the link again: [DOWNLOAD LINK]

In a few days I will share the email tool I use on every WordPress client site. No pressure , just what works for me after testing five options.

Email 3 , Recommend and affiliate CTA (day 5)

Subject: The email tool I use on every WordPress client site (14-day free trial)

Hi there, you have the checklist and the migration framework. The next question is usually "which tool should I pick?"

I have tested MailerLite, Beehiiv, Kit, and two others over the past three years. The one I keep using for WordPress bloggers under two thousand subscribers is ConvertKit.

Tagging by content interest is straightforward, the visual automation builder handles welcome sequences without code, and the WordPress plugin connects forms without a separate Zapier step.

It is not perfect. Visual automations take an afternoon to learn if you have only used linear autoresponders before.

If budget is tight and you need the lowest paid tier, MailerLite may fit better , your checklist scoring table will tell you.

Disclosure: If you purchase through my link, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools I use on client sites.

Questions? Reply to this email.

Notice what this email does not do. It does not repeat the entire checklist. It does not compare five tools again. It assumes emails 1 and 2 did that work and focuses on one recommendation with honest limits.

That restraint is what keeps unsubscribes low on pitch day.

Email sequence timing

Email sequence timing: Day 0: Deliver → Day 2: Teach → Day 5: Recommend → Ongoing: Newsletter.

Bridge-page variant (no email capture)

If you skip the opt-in, expand the landing page sections into a bridge page. Remove the form.

Lead with "Stop guessing which email tool fits your WordPress site." Keep the five comparison criteria, add your recommendation with pros and cons, and place the affiliate CTA after the proof section.

This version works for warm YouTube or email traffic where you do not need to capture addresses. You lose nurture but gain speed: one page, one click, track bridge-to-offer conversion only.

Use the bridge variant in YouTube descriptions when you mention ConvertKit mid-video. Link to a bridge page, not the checklist. Viewers who already trust you from the video need less nurture.

Still include disclosure and one honest con on the page.

Implement in WordPress with funnel plugin guide or follow step-by-step build instructions.

Before you launch

Upload the checklist PDF and test the download link in email 1. Connect the form so a new subscriber triggers the sequence immediately. Send test emails to Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail.

Open the landing page on your phone and submit a test opt-in end to end. Add UTM tags to traffic sources using the patterns in our tracking guide.

Link to the landing page from two or three related blog posts.

A pre-launch routine takes about twenty minutes.

Opt in with a personal Gmail address, confirm the PDF link works, click the affiliate link in email 3 in an incognito window, and check that disclosure text appears above the fold on mobile.

Send one Pinterest pin to the live page before scaling to your full pin batch.

Wireframe and layout notes

Single column layout with no sidebar or main menu. Headline visible without scrolling on mobile. Maximum one form field unless you need first name for personalization.

Button should contrast with the background and use verb-plus-outcome text like "Send me the checklist." Link your privacy policy near the form. Compress mockup images so the page loads under three seconds.

Copy structure, swap the details, test once, then send traffic

This template is the smallest affiliate funnel that still builds trust: one landing page, three emails, one offer. Launch it, measure opt-in and click rates, then improve one element at a time.

FAQ

Is this affiliate funnel template free?

Yes. This page provides the full copy structure. Implement it in WordPress with BlitzFunnel or your preferred funnel and email tools.

Can I use this template without email capture?

Yes. Use the landing page sections as a bridge page and send traffic directly to the affiliate link. You lose follow-up but gain simplicity.

How long should each email be?

Two hundred fifty to four hundred words is ideal. One story or lesson, one actionable takeaway, one next step.

What if my affiliate program forbids email promotion?

Use the landing page as a bridge only and drive clicks from the page CTA. Check program terms before adding links to emails.

How many affiliate links per email?

One primary link in the recommendation email. Optional text link duplicate is fine. Avoid promoting three products at once.

After launch, tag traffic with UTMs and log weekly numbers using the sheet in our affiliate funnel tracking guide.

Compare this template to other layouts in WordPress funnel templates if you are unsure whether lead capture or a bridge-only page fits your traffic.

For strategy context, read the affiliate marketing sales funnel overview. Need follow-up copy patterns beyond these three emails? The email sequence examples page includes welcome and re-engagement variants you can bolt on after email 3.
